There are three places left to be filled in a speculative fiction writers' retreat being held at Leura House at the end of September. Details are as follows:

When? Friday 26 September to Sunday 28 September 2008
Where? Leura House, Leura, Blue Mountains (2 minutes walk from Leura Railway Station)
Tutors: Terry Dowling, Robert Hood and Cat Sparks.
Cost: Single room w/ ensuite $470 (4 only), Twin share w/ ensuite $430 (8 only)

"The purpose of the weekend is to have an opportunity to have your work read and discussed by peers and by our professional writers. Participants will engage in both group critiques as well as having one-on-one opportunities to discuss their work with Terry, Cat and Rob."

darn it. I have the kids that weekend. Hmm, I suppose I'd have to actually have something written for you folks to discuss. You know that's a bit writist of you all. I think there needs to be an alternative writing retreat where we just all bitch about editors/ writers. Oh wait. That's what conventions are for.
